Our 40mm Grey Crushed Rock is a 40mm stone down to fines that compacts to a hard surface. It is suitable for driveways, pathways, under paving and concrete slabs as its main function is to create a stable compacted base. It is better suited for heavy duty applications due to the larger stone size. For the best result, we do recommend once laid that crushed rocks are compacted by either a water roller or vibrating plate.
Crushed Rock is commonly laid between 50mm – 150mm depth.
